What is CrossFit?
"CrossFit is many things. Primarily, it’s a fitness regimen developed by Coach Greg Glassman over several decades. He defined fitness as increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains. CrossFit itself is defined as that which optimizes fitness (constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity). CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. Our method of madness
We believe in many ways up the mountain, and we want to make sure that everyone reaches the fitness goals they have in a safe way.
This is why everyone must start with Foundations. This is five classes that will teach you the basic movements and skills needed to start. It also allows the coaches to get to know you and your goals, so we can customize the coaching to your unique needs.
The next step will be to join our classes. This program focuses on furthering the form and skill development from Foundations while limiting different variables such as time, weight, or skill complexity. In other words, it utilizes CrossFit methods while focusing on the infinitely scale-able aspect of this system. The fitness programming for the Workout of the Day (WOD) is specifically designed to push the limits and skills of every athlete.
